On March 31, we join communities across the nation and around the world in observing International Transgender Day of Visibility, a day dedicated to honoring the lives, contributions, and resilience of transgender people, while also raising awareness of the challenges they continue to face.
The Spring semester is an especially exciting time. There are many activities through our Student Government Association, Club Rush and plenty of athletic and performing arts events.
Twenty-one people - 19 of them children - were murdered yesterday. Their promising lives ended by a gunman who barged into their school and opened fire. Three other children are in critical condition. We pray for their recovery. We pray for those who were senselessly murdered.
As the invasion of Ukraine continues, we at Mt. San Jacinto College send our support for those fighting to preserve freedom, democracy, and sovereignty in their country.
